I don't remember when but we once bought a new mh and we felt that the awing was too short, so we bought a longer one, with tube. We still have the original, I could easily part with it.

We had a Thetford. Once while flushing it the pedal slipped off my foot and broke. I figured that parts would not be available and ordered a new one, then found parts locally. The new one came and it was a couple years before we found someone who needed it.

There's an antioxidating grease/past that is used on aluminum conductors, you might try that on the circuit board plugs.

There is a grease like substances used with Aluminum conductors, wire/busbar, to prevent corrosion.

RE: External Fuel Tank for Generator
Some MH's have two fuel lines into the gas tank, one goes to the bottom of tank, the other goes down only 3/4's of the way down for the onboard generator, so the generator cannot use-up all the gas in the tank.

RE: Calgon & Dawn treatment for waste tank sensors issues works!
The sensors that come in the tanks are actually electric probes that pock into the tanks. They get coated and then will not conduct the low voltage power that shows the level in the tanks in fractions. RV tank Sensors are electronic
strips that are stuck to the tank and give read-outs in % to a circuit board on the wall.
Just do a Google search. A little expensive but to me well worth it.

I added a home hot water heating circulating pressure tank with platter, in our motor home. I don't know if it's any quieter, but it does not cycle as often just longer.

RE: Thetford 2018 replaced with Dometic 310
Many years ago we had a part on our MH toilet break. I figured it would take a while to get the part, so I owed a new toilet, then found that the part was easy to get, so I got the part and fixed the toilet. The new toilet came a few days latter, we still have it and the box it's in has never been opened. Anyone need a new RV Toilet ?
